On behalf of the staff at Arboles Animal Clinic, we are honored to pay respect to our beloved animal friends who have passed.
Wylie, a Golden Retriever/Chow mix was rescued by a friend of our sister-in-law from the desert near Sparks NV. The rescuer thought he was a coyote pup until he came running up to the rescuer, happy to see a human. Hence the name Wylie for Wile E. Coyote. We had recently lost our Golden Retriever so my sister-in-law asked if we would want him. We told her we would have to meet him and when we did, we fell in love! He turned out to be a great traveler and so smart and observant. He especially liked TV shows with animals. He was so patient with the grandchildren and grand-dogs. Halloween was Wylie's favorite holiday because he would sit and wait at the open door for all the kids who came to visit. He hated loud motorcycles, vacuum cleaners or similar noises, but his greatest fear was when he heard coyotes howl, probably because of his days of abandonment in the desert!
"Hi, my name is Roxy and I was adopted by my Mom, Renée in November 2001. I got to live in numerous places during my life, I even got to experience the snow in Chicago for a while. I didn’t like the cold very much so I was glad when my Mom and I moved back to CA. I went to live with my Grandma and Great-Grandma for a while and had two other doggies to play with, Mija and Chica. Great-Grandma would spoil me rotten with crumbs and leftovers from her meals. I had a long life filled with love from all members of my family but I needed to go play in doggie heaven this past year. I am survived by my Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma and my “adopted sisters” Mija and Chica."
Kirby was born on May 5, 1997, and sadly left us on January 25, 2013. He was a sweet, shy and funny boy and he is missed every day.
Beanie was born on August 12, 1998 and passed away February 13th of this year. Beanie was Mr. Robinson's Christmas present and gave them nearly 14 years of joy. After Mr. Robinson passed away in 2011, Beanie was Mrs. Robinson's constant companion and gave her so much comfort. He was a little devil, but was so cute, you could not get mad!!
Hershey was 9 years old when she died but she gave us a lifetime of memories. Hershey loved to chase birds, take us for walks, go on road trips and clean up after two little boys who left a lot of crumbs! She was a wonderful companion, listener, comforter and protector and we miss her every day!
Chavis was a great dog and will be missed. He was always ready to give anyone the best attention. He was loved by his family and left us too soon. His memory will stay with us all.
Puck is one of two dogs this family had to loose recently. Bull was a great dog very loving and died to young. Our thoughts are with the family.
Puck is the second in this family to die too soon . Puck like his brother Bull were longtime clients and the owners still are. We miss him and always will.
"Foxy" and "Luca" Robinson
Both dogs were lost the past year and will be remembered. They were raised together and great family dogs. Sweet beyond belief, and like many other longtime patients they will always have a special place in our hearts.
"Lindsey Buckingham" Plummer
Lindsey was one of the first clients we had when we took over and we will remember him with smiles. He was a silly easy going classic golden with an amazing personality.
